I was packing my bags to head back to the Gold Coast when Nutty called me and asked if I wanted to stay on for a couple of weeks and do the US tour of the Cancer to Capricorn movie. Texas, Virginia Beach, Florida… what did you think I said?
I just got back to Cali from what would have been one of the heaviest benders of my life but also, one of the funnest. The crew consisted of Fisher, Losness, Bottle, Benny B and myself with Amy and Nutty being the team leaders making sure we made our flights on time and got to each promo with no hassles.
The daily routine consisted of waking up hungover, going to a promo to sign some posters for the groms or drive to the airport and get on a plane to fly to our next destination. Once we got to our destination, we would all pass out in our hotel and sleep for an hour or so then go to another signing, semi recover and then the premiere would be on again. Fish and I would then be on the decks for a few hours and later on, the Reef sales rep of that territory would take us to some wild club till the early hours of the morning…
This went on for 7 days straight and below are some of the highlights of the trip. Oh yeh also, we somehow managed to go squeeze in a visit to NASA in Texas in between all the madness. Check it out!
