My brother is in this Jim Beam ‘The Break’ competition at the moment. He’s competing for a $50,000 sponsorship to do a full year on the WQS. He needs your help to get him to the fitness camp at North Straddy next month. All you have to do is click HERE and then when you’re on his profile page, click the big red ‘VOTE NOW’ button. On the 18th December 2010, a select group of athletes took part in the IRON GUT 2010. We started at Southport Surf Club and either ran or rode all the way to Rainbow Bay Surf Club. As part of the challenge, we had to stop in at every Surf Club on the way and have a beer. With a total distance of 28.8km and 17 beers down, the boys were buckled by the end!

2 sessions that were shot with my new 7D. Played around with a couple of different picture styles and found that the standard one was the best. Shot at both the most southern and northern spots on the Goldy. 35 team ruling!

So the waves went flat here at Cloud 9 for 3 days, so we had 3 days of beer pong, pool and good times. The surf then picked back up and they finished the comp in 3 – 4 foot waves. Garrett ended up beating Makua in the final and will be taking home $7500. A few images to let you know what went down…
