Last week, Reef had the world premiere for their new surf film, ‘Cancer to Capricorn’. It was held at the Newport Film Festival with the after party being held at the L.A. Sports Club. The after party was huge and it would have been the biggest crowd I have ever played too.
We rocked up to the venue after the movie premiere and the sound guy had forgotten to bring the gear that Fisher and Sedz needed to DJ with. Luckily I was able to work with what was there. Fish then went straight down to the bar and started blowing up at the manager and soon returned with a 1.75L bottle of Absolute Vodka because of the stuff-up. Check some photos…

If you happen to be down at Bells around Easter time when the World Tour is in town, come to the World Premiere of Reef’s new movie, Cancer To Capricorn. It kicks off at 7pm at Left Off The Rocks Bar and I’ll be playing beats after… It’s gonna be wild!

I am outta here on Monday so to farewell me, the boys at Dirty Sundays are throwing me a party! It kicks off at Titanium Bar at 2pm on Sunday. Also getting behind the decks with be the Edsons (Elke DJ’s new alias) and also Malfunke. I’ll also be playing the main set at Elsewhere after so shit is gonna get weird!
If you’ve enjoyed the tunes I have been playing at Dirty Sundays over the summer then this is the last chance you will be able to hear them for a while. Just incase you are wondering where I’m going… I’ll be heading over to WA for a month or so and then posting up in Bali for the season. Lets get jiggy with it!

Burleigh’s rock break has been unbelievable the last few weeks and it just so happens that Breaka ran a contest there this week. TB ended up winning the event on the Sunday and I was conveniently playing at Titanium that arvo and then was playing the main set at Elsewhere after.
