About a month or so ago, DMS whipped me up a weird little board called the Ferrit. He designed it alongside one of my good mates Nick Chalmers. It’s a crazy little flat thing with a quad setup. I took it for a test run up on the travellator up the Spit and then thing went mental and was so fun when it was small. Check the vid for some action…

Burleigh’s rock break has been unbelievable the last few weeks and it just so happens that Breaka ran a contest there this week. TB ended up winning the event on the Sunday and I was conveniently playing at Titanium that arvo and then was playing the main set at Elsewhere after. Finally there are waves on the Goldy again. The last couple of weeks saw the first proper swell hit the east coast and boy was it fun! Relocating to Burleigh point, the ‘Superbank’ was now running along the rocks at Burleigh and along with the bank came the crowds. I have been surfing it with a few of the boys and I have had my jack of all trades girl Hanzy on the lens at each session. Check it!

Next weekend, I have a 4 shows to play in 3 nights! The first one is the best as Choppsy has got me on board playing at the Laneway Festival Afterpary at Empire in Brisbane. I’m supporting ONE MAN PARTY (the drummer from Soulwax) which I’m pretty siked on! On Saturday night, it’s Noahs 21st down at Burleigh Surf Club and then I’m playing at K-Clubs first birthday party at Ruby Tramp after which is also with ONE MAN PARTY… Finally on Sunday is Dirty Sundays at the Titanium Bar. You have to check out the poster… its that funny!
